Our Services

Emergency Exam

Emergency Exam Fee - $175

When you arrive with your pet, our doctor will perform a detailed physical exam in order to provide you with an itemized estimate for recommended diagnostics and treatments.

If your pet arrives in critical condition, we may ask for authorization of up to $1000 for critical stabilization, so that we can get started right away. You will then be provided with an additional estimate for continued care as soon as possible.

Payment will be due at time of service. If you are provided with an estimate for care, we will require a deposit equal to the estimate before proceeding with a surgical or hospitalization plan. Any remaining balance can be paid at time of discharge, or a refund will be provided for funds that are not used during your pet’s stay.

Unfortunately, we cannot provide in-house payment plans and we do not accept checks. We do accept cash, all major credit/debit cards, and alternative forms of credit such as Scratchpay, Carecredit, and AllPet Card - see our Client Resources Page for more information.

Please understand that we are an emergency service and do not provide routine care such as spay/neuter, vaccines, health certificates, or flea/tick/heartworm prevention.

We are also not a public pharmacy and cannot dispense medications to patients without a medical exam by the doctor - this is a state law.

Emergency Care

We provide emergent care for pets when they need it most. If your pet is experiencing any of the following symptoms, please call us right away:

-Lethargy, Unresponsiveness

-Difficulty Breathing

-Difficulty Urinating or Inability to Urinate

-Difficulty Walking or Using Limbs

-Traumatic Injuries

-Seizure Activity

-Toxin or Foreign Object Ingestion

-Persistent Vomiting and/or Diarrhea

-Refusing to Eat

-Severe Pain

End of Life Care

Unfortunately, many emergencies can involve end of life care for pets. If the time has come for humane euthanasia, we are here for your pet. We take extra care to ensure your pet is comfortable, relaxed, and painless during their passing.

Our Euthanasia Exam fee is $150 - this includes an IV catheter placement and all sedatives/drugs required for the service. You are welcome to be present with your pet through the process, but you don’t have to be if you prefer not to. Each patient is treated with the same care and attention whether their owner can be there or not.

We work with Petland Cemetery, who provides crematory and memorial services. We will present the different options they offer and associated prices for care of remains prior to the euthanasia service. If you prefer a home burial, we can prepare your pet to go home with you in a degradable burial container for no additional fee.

If your pet has already passed at home, we can still facilitate care of remains through our hospital and coordinate transfer to Petland Cemetery per your wishes. The only fees associated with this will be based on your choices of care through Petland.

If you are experiencing financial hardships and cannot afford the euthanasia exam fee, but believe your pet is suffering - please call us.
